Healing Retreat

An invitation-only healing retreat took place in Rockland, Maine. The work was done on Journey Looms, the small lap-size portable EarthLooms created and sold by Weaving a Life. Over a few weeks, a group of women wove amulets and bowls – yes, bowls – using the unique three-dimensional weaving technique of Susan Barrett Merrill.

Once the weaving starts, focus happens. The simple weaving is so relaxing, worries are replaced by calm.
